"This is long overdue. We had such a great experience shopping at Jennifer's Hammam. We went in to buy kese, saw the beautiful towels and , after a great conversation with Haci, said we would be back. When we went back the next day, a lovely young man walked us the two blocks to the storehouse where Haci once again helped us with our purchases. Our looped towels are magnificent. The quality is out of this world. They are so soft and absorbent!! I reached out to Jennifer after the first wash with a question and got a reply within the day, explaining how to care for the towels. Absolutely everything about Jennifer's Hamam is top notch...the staff, the customer service and most of all the quality of the products!"

"I researched where to buy the best quality robes and towels prior to my trip and all the wonderful reviews lead me to Jennifer's and it did not disappoint. From the time we stepped into the store in Arasta bazaar we were welcomed and treated as very special guests. The quality of the robes and towels we purchased is amazing and there is a very large selection at very decent pricing. We had a lovely explanation of the weavers who make the products as well as a history behind Jennifer's store. One thing to keep in mind is that pieces are unique and if shopping for robes, not all sizes are available in all colors and designs. But there is a great variety to choose from and I am very happy with my choice. Shipping was easy and received my robe within 2 days of being shipped from Turkey. Look for the Canadian flag in the store window and get ready for a real treat.!"

"We visited Jennifer's Hamam in the Arasta Bazaar near the Blue Mosque in August 2024, and after visiting the store (be sure to look for the Canadian flag on the top of the display window -- other stores are inauthentic copy-cats!) we were escorted to the larger showroom nearby, with three floors of beautiful, varied products made of organic cotton, linen, and silk. The experience is like being in a museum, with a friendly personal guide to help you choose. All items are made by hand by Turkish weavers using old-style shuttled looms--the last, and only, products made this way in the world. We had purchased some bath towels from Jennifer's Hamam about a decade ago and they are still in great shape, but we wanted more, in some new colors, and bought two on our recent visit -- as well as two bathrobes. As soon as we returned home to the United States, we realized we should have bought more towels and ordered another set. The online experience was simple and trouble-free, and we received our additional towels within a few days of ordering! "In 2022 my wife and I were given the tip of visiting Jennifer's Hamam from close friends who had visited the last time they visited Istanbul. I'll admit at first reference, we were a little skeptical, but we went anyways. I'm so very glad we did. The service is amazing, their selection is incredible, and the artistry of the weavers is top notch. We are in love with the textiles we bought during our first visit. Flash forward a year and we decided we wanted to get more from the shop, they helped us via a Zoom call that lasted way longer than I think my wife and I thought, but again the service smashed our expectations. They were so friendly, even on a Zoom call, and we never felt as though we were being a burden on the shop. If you are new to the Turkish textiles, then do yourself the favor and visit this shop. They are incredibly friendly, helpful, and they have an amazing product. We can't wait to visit in person and see what new designs they have to offer!!"
